I was having pain/pressure on my left side under my ribs and along my side, sometimes going all the way to my back. On my back, I was having muscle twitching. These symptoms were more when I was sleeping and when sitting, especially when sitting in the car or sitting really straight. Then started developing muscle twitching in my arm, when weight is put on it. Diagnosed my neurologist with peripheral nerve excitability syndrome and cramp fasciculation syndrome. Neurologist put me on carbazepine and it has really helped. This seizure med does have side effects of dizziness, drowsiness and constipation, but I haven’t had any dizziness. Worth it!
